The bonding is nice, but I am completely bewildered by the recent renaissance of bacon. I just don't get it, quite apart from being a vegetarian. And those cookies do sound unbelievably gross. Poor dogs - they must have smelled the bacon but couldn't have any because chocolate is lethal to dogs.
Yes, the bonding was lovely, and cookies were *horrible*. I poured some bacon grease over the dogs' kibble to apologize for their suffering but no one apologized to me for mine.
