Maybe the underlying soil is warmer in one area. Dunno. Strange.
I think it is a symbol of the obvious psychic schism between reality and perception that exists at the particular latitude and longitude of you back yard. Or it's situational global warming. Or your house is built on an acient Druid site. Or it's just one of those things. LOL
