What about "You blankety blank?"
i think when i see this i think of color for some reason. color pencils or color ink. I think I want to fill the blank even if only with color. It all seems very expansive seeing so much blankness together like that, maybe even a little bleak, so I think maybe, that's why I want some color. So yes, I want to color now. I said color a lot didn't I? Don't answer that;o)
Today, I sent my boss an email with the subject line "What I Need From You".
I asked her to say, "there, there" to me occasionally. I told her that either face-to-face or via email would be fine.
This request evidently concerned her. Did I feel unsupported?
We had a meeting about it. I told her that it was either "there, there" or belly rubs. She asked what "there, there" means to me. I told her it means, "it's all good, bro."
I had her practice saying it a few times.
She said she might forget to do it, but I promised I would remind her.
I felt very good that I could help someone understand my personal needs.
@Susan -- I'll give you a point for that. (Points redeemable at Adult Sensations.)
@Paul -- Kind of a "fill in the blanks", right? I was surprised, only, that you spelled colour without the U.
@Dixier -- I really really really wish that people would be so specific in telling me exactly what they needed from me. And remind me when I forget. I could be much better at everything with that kind of explicit guidance. This is something about you that I like enormously.
