They are a lot more like us than most people want to believe. One of the saddest sights I ever saw was a male gorilla in a small cage at the Crandon Park Zoo in Miami, Florida. He had been in that cage alone for 26 years already, and his spirit was shattered. He sat with his back to the onlookers, many of whom threw things at him. I have never been able to handle zoos since then.

He looks angry, and perhaps a tad pensive. I like gorillas, and super strong bite is not to be sneezed at.

I like gorillas too. Once I saw a mother gorilla tickling a baby gorilla. And the baby was laughing. Did you know gorillas laughed?

Gorilla tape! I didn't know it existed. We do use a lot of Gorilla glue around here.
