se geler les miches (à l'heure du laitier)

Hot and cold are dependent on each other for contrast which supplies meaning and it becomes evident that when I said it was cold there, I only meant I felt cold there, and my perception of cold was not based nearly as much upon temperature as it was upon colour (cinereous skies and skeletal poplars, grey). But by the end it felt less cold, the sunrises were melting fire, and the coffee was very very hot.

That sunrise looks like a gaseous explosion, but in a good way. I deeply hate to be cold, but hot coffee helps.

The sunrises were surprising, but some of the colour-blending in this one can probably be blamed on my cell phone camera. Amazing how many things hot coffee can fix for me. (Bottoms up.) x

Coffee and sunrise are my favorite times. Sometimes those moments just clear stuff up.

Sunrise and coffee, yes, perfect together.

Thanks for writing about them. Sunrise has always been just a rumor for me, and coffee's still fine at ten.

Really? I'm jealous. I have lost the ability to sleep past 7:00am and I miss it terribly. If you can teach me how I would be forever grateful.

It's so easy, if you fall asleep at four.

There is so much beautiful in the cold -- but my body hates it too.
